Thai Hot and Sour Praws Soup (Tom Yum Goong) Recipes
This is the famous Tom Yum Goong which anyone who knows and appreciates Thai food has experienced.
This soup combines all the exotic flavours of Thai aromatic herbs such as lemongrass, chillies, ginza and coriander. You can make it as spicy as you like. You can also try adding some chilli jam in for a different version of this soup.

|Lai Deang Shrimp||150||gr|
|Chillies in Oil||1||teasp|
|Chopped Lemon Grass||10||gr|
|Chopped Spring Onion||10||gr|
|Kaffir Lime leaves||5||pcs|
|Coconut Milk/Carnation Cream||2||teasp|
1.Heat and boil stock with the chopped galangal, chopped lemon grass,kaffir lime leaves and chopped shallot in a large sauce pan and heat to boiling.
2.Add Shrimp, fish sauce, sugar, straw mushroom, tomato sliced and simmer for about 1-3 minutes or until shrimp is cooked and then add the coconut milk or carnation cream.
3.Heat just to boiling then place the lime juice , chopped spring onion in a sering bowl and pour the soup over then and garnish with coriander.
There are 2 kinds of spicy shrimp soups with herb. The first one is a clear soup (don't put chillies in oil), the other is an unclear soup (put chillies in oil- -more hotter).
Tricks and Tips :
Don't leave the lime juice on the heat so long otherwise thw taste will turn bitter.
